Sai takes high jump bronze at Children’s Games

Lý Thị Hải Sai jumps 1.60m to win a bronze medal for Việt Nam in the girls' high jump event at the ongoing Children of Asia International Sports Games in Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

HÀ NỘI — Lý Thị Hải Sai won a bronze medal for Việt Nam in the girls’ high jump event at the ongoing Children of Asia International Sports Games in Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

She achieved a result of 1.6m in the event.

After seven days of competition, Việt Nam have pocketed five gold, three silver and six bronze medals and are one of the Games’ top 10 delegations.

Vietnamese children are taking part in the chess events as well.

Nguyễn Đăng Hồng Phúc is leading the men’s standard discipline after five rounds, with 4.5 points.

His teammate, Trần Minh Thắng, is second, with four points. — VNS
