As a tournament held for VGA Tour members with high rankings in the Order of Merit, the VGA Tour Championship marks the "first" of Vietnamese golf, contributing to the distinct appeal of the tournament. With the message "Path to Victory", T99 VGA Tour Championship is a tournament in which players do their best for "the last trophy of the year", while experiencing and competing with big names in the Vietnamese golf community. Gathering the top 30 players who have made the name for professional golf in Vietnam such as Nguyễn Văn Quyết – the champion of Nam A Bank Vietnam Masters 2022, Joey Troy – the champion of DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 or PGA Phạm Minh Đức, the tour promises to bring entertaining competitions and "unpredictable" results, according to organisers .

In their first "appearance" on the golf course, T99 Group will accompany VGA Tour as a title sponsor. The participation of T99 in the tournament shows the desire to promote and develop golf in particular and the country's sport.

The champion of the tournament will not only receive the prestigious trophy, but it will also be a glorious "end" when being crowned "champion of champions". Through the tournament, the players will have the opportunity to compete to assert their position in Vietnamese golf community as well as "locate" the national golf on the world map.

T99 VGA Tour Championship will be formatted as stroke play over four (4) rounds of 18-hole each at Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort, one of the newly-risen 18-hole golf courses in Vĩnh Phúc Province.

Located in the valley is the reason why it is less windy here in the summer and the winter wind is strong and swirly, thus when playing in this course, golfers need to have different playing strategies for different weather conditions to achieve the best scores.

However, this golf course is considered to be not too difficult, easy to earn under par and the Handicap Playing ability of golfers will be lower.

Prize purse is at VNĐ1.5 billion of which VNĐ500 million is for the championship and VNĐ 1 billion for the rest.

The three-day tournament will be live broadcast via the official media channels of VGA Tour, GolfNews, vHandicap and major sports channels to help golf lovers stay up to date with the latest developments of the tournament. VNS
