The female patient, 27, from Hải Phòng, who worked at a restaurant in Sweden, flew from Bangkok, Thailand to Đà Nẵng on March 21.
The patient tested positive for the deadly virus in the city’s quarantine area on March 22.
She was taken to the city’s General Hospital for further treatment and has since returned to a healthy status.
The patient needs to test negative once more before leaving the hospital.
Vice director of the hospital Nguyễn Thành Trung said she would likely be discharged this week.
