Nguyễn Kim starts selling essential items for shoppers’ safety amid pandemic

Electronics retailer Nguyễn Kim has started selling essential items such as rice, sugar, salt, and canned foods under a programme it has dubbed “Nguyễn Kim sells essential products to increase convenience for customers" amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

HCM CITY — Electronics retailer Nguyễn Kim has started selling essential items such as rice, sugar, salt, and canned foods under a programme it has dubbed “Nguyễn Kim sells essential products to increase convenience for customers" amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The products will initially be sold at 15 Nguyễn Kim outlets in Hà Nội, HCM City and other cities and provinces, be of good quality and sold at fixed prices like at its sister company, Big C.

Nguyễn Thị Phương, deputy general director of Central Retail Group, which owns both chains, said: “We have this programme to increase convenience for customers. In addition to purchasing electronics and technology products, customers can easily shop for essential products in a safe manner in one place amid the COVID-19 pandemic.”
