HÀ NỘI — Four people who visited Buddha Bar in HCM City and one patient at Bạch Mai Hospital in Hà Nội are among the eleven latest SARS-CoV-2 infection cases confirmed on Tuesday evening, bringing the total number in Việt Nam to 134.

The 124th patient is a 52-year-old Brazilian residing in HCM City’s District 2.

He worked at two branches of his footwear company in Đồng Nai and HCM City.

He also visited Biên Hoà City, Đồng Nai and Vincom Centre in HCM City without wearing a face mask.

On March 14, he visited Buddha Bar.

He is under quarantine at the temporary Củ Chi Hospital in HCM City.

The 125th and 126th patient were reportedly at the bar between 9.30pm on March 14 and 3am on March 15.

They are a 22-year-old specialist and a 28-year-old teacher. Both are South African and reside in HCM City’s District 7.

The 127th patient is a Vietnamese waiter at the bar, residing in Tân Phú District.

He started having a fever on March 16 and had health check at a clinic, where he was prescribed medicine to allay the fever.

He has been under quarantine since March 21.

The 128th and 129th patients are 20-year-old Vietnamese students who returned from the UK on March 20.

They landed in Hà Nội on flight VN0054 and were put in quarantine.

The 130th, 131st and 132nd patients are tourists visiting Spain.

They transited in Russia before landing in Hà Nội on flight SU290 on March 22.

They are under quarantine at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Đông Anh District, Hà Nội.

The 133rd patient is a 66-year-old woman who was being treated at Bạch Mai Hospital in Hà Nội.

On March 22, she started suffering from a fever on the way home from Lai Châu Province.

She is being treated at Lai Châu Province’s General Hospital, and is in a stable condition.

Two nurses at Bạch Mai Hospital have also tested positive for the virus.

The 134th patient is a 10-year-old boy from Thạch Thất, Hà Nội.

He returned to Việt Nam on flight SU290 on March 18 and was put in quarantine in the central province of Thanh Hoá.

He is being treated at Bỉm Sơn General Hospital. — VNS
