AN GIANG — Châu Phú District's Police Office on Monday reported that three members of a family were killed around 11:20am on Sunday in Long Phước Hamlet, Ô Long Vĩ Commune, Châu Phú District, in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang due to electric shock.
Earlier, at 11:20 am on Sunday, Lê Thị Tuyết Loan, 24, residing in the hamlet, went to the home of her husband’s brother named Ngô Văn Hùng.
She found Hùng’s seven-year-old son lying motionless. She called on the boy but he did not respond.
Then, she also found Hùng, 49, and his 45-year-old wife, dead.
She immediately informed of the case to the commune police.
After receiving the report, local police went to the scene to investigate. Initial findings indicated that the three people died from electric shock.
The police are continuing to further investigate the case.— VNS
