HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam on Thursday congratulated India on the successes of the Lok Sabha election and expressed the belief that the Indian Government leader will continue to help push forward the bilateral ties.

"We believe that under the sound leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will continue to grow stronger with an increasingly high role and position in the region and world," spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Phạm Thu Hằng stated at the press briefing in Hà Nội.

"The Việt Nam-India comprehensive strategic partnership will also be increasingly developed in an effective and extensive manner for the interest of the two peoples, as well as for peace and prosperity in the region and the world," the spokeswoman stated. — VNS
