Discovery will be showing a documentary about Việt Nam's technology evolution

FPT is the focus of attention in the story about Việt Nam's technology revolution that will air on Discovery this coming September.

HÀ NỘI — FPT Corporation recently worked with television company the Discovery Channel to film a 30-minute documentary entitled 'Silicon Delta - The story of Vietnam's Technology Revolution'.

It portrays the desire to make Việt Nam to be the leader in technical abilities across the world, transforming it into a destination for innovation, with inspiring stories from leaders in the field.

The documentary features the participation of senior leaders of FPT and member companies such as FPT Chairman Trương Gia Bình, FPT Software Chairwoman Chu Thị Thanh Hà, FPT Deputy General Director and General Director of FPT Software Phạm Minh Tuấn, Deputy General Director of FPT Software Nguyễn Khải Hoàn and FPT Software Artificial Intelligence Director Nguyễn Xuân Phong.

One of the most prominent themes in the episode is FPT's key decision to follow an 'Export software or die' model. The FPT leader believes this is the only way for the company to survive and work as a game changer in the nation's destiny.

“From sixties to eighties, constantly there's constant hunger, "said Trương Gia Bình. " I just need some company to help us to survive. That's why we are FPT."

In addition to exploring past and present innovations, the film will also reference some of the new technology projects that FPT is promoting, such as artificial intelligence, cars, semiconductor chips and other digital and green transformations, helping shape the future not only of the corporation but also of the entire country.
