An old saying goes "Good things come to those who wait", but sayings aren't always true, just ask some prospective teachers in Hà Nội.
Some 400 candidates for the teacher selection examination on Sunday morning in Ba Đình District were forced to wait three hours before they could begin the all-important test.
They couldn't begin because their exam papers were stuck in Sunday traffic, according to the examination committee.
Since the important exam would determine the people who teach children, the test papers had to be physically delivered instead of digitally.
The candidates who stayed and patiently waited were rewarded with an exam.
At least they moved a step closer to their dream job although some people, mostly those who skipped breakfast, ended up in a first aid room after pushing their minds and bodies to the limit. — VNS
