Việt Nam’s top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam has risen one step in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, announced on Monday.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam has risen one step in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, announced on Monday.

The 19-year-old moved from the position of world No 641 to 640 in the men’s singles category.

Nam, who was born in the southern Tây Ninh Province, ranked 610th in the world last year.

Meanwhile, Nguyễn Hoàng Thiên dropped two steps to world No 1,443 and Trịnh Linh Giang slid four slots to world No 1,643.

In the men’s doubles rankings, both Nam and Thiên rose one spot to No 629 and No 794, respectively. — VNS
