Cường wins KSTC Junior Challenge tennis tourney

HÀ NỘI — Trần Quốc Cường won a tennis tournament in Thailand in the KSTC Junior Challenge’s U10 category.

Unseeded Cường defeated a Thai player 4-1, 4-1 in the final to triumph in his category, which attracted the participation of 64 players.

Cường, who began playing tennis at the age of 7, is playing for the Military team.

Earlier, Nguyễn Đắc Tiến, another Vietnamese player, triumphed in the Thailand Open’s U18 tennis event in Muang Thong on May 23.

Tiến was not a seed at this tournament, but he overcame all to win the title. — VNS
