HÀ NỘI — Eleven COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the National Tropical Diseases Hospital on Tuesday morning, bringing the country’s total recovered cases to 232.

The Sub-Committee for Treatment and National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control said that they are all Vietnamese, including two cases, Patient 74 and patient 137, who were relapsed patients.

The recovered patients in full are:

Patient 74, male, 23, tested positive after being given the all-clear on April 10. He was admitted to the hospital again on April 24. During treatment, the patient was tested four times and all tests came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 26, 27, 29 and 30.

Patient 137, male, 36, is another relapsed patient who was declared recovered on April 7. During treatment, the patient had five tests and all test results were negative for SARS-CoV-2 from April 22 to May 4.

Patient 147, male, 19, was admitted to the hospital on March 23. The patient was tested twice, and all test results were negative for SARS-CoV-2 on May 1 and 4. Currently, he has no fever, no cough, no shortness of breath, and is in a stable condition.

Patient 161, female, 88, was admitted to the hospital on March 25. The patient has three test results negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 27, 29 and 30.

Patient 163, female, 43, was admitted to the hospital on March 27. The patient was tested twice, and all were negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 30 and May 3.

Patient 201, female, 23, was admitted to the hospital on March 30. During treatment, the patient was tested two times and all tests were negative for SARS-CoV-2 on May 1 and 4.

Patient 225, male, 35, was admitted to the hospital on April 1. The patient had two negative SARS-CoV-2 tests on May 1 and 4.

Patient 233, female, 24, was admitted to the hospital April 2. The patient has tested three times negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 27, 30 and May 3.

Patient 245, female, 21, was admitted to the hospital on April 6. The patient was tested three times and all results were negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 27, 30 and May 4.

Patient 255, male, 29, was admitted to the hospital on April 8. The patient had two negative SARS-CoV-2 tests on May 1 and 4.

Patient 267, male, 46, was admitted to the hospital on April 15. The patient was tested twice and both came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on April 30 and May 3. Currently, he has no fever, no cough, no breathing difficulties and is in a stable condition.

These patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days, according to the Sub-Committee for Treatment and National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

As of Tuesday morning, Việt Nam reported no new COVID-19 cases in the community over the past 18 days. The number of coronavirus confirmed cases stand at 271 and no fatalities. — VNS
