Bình Dương to build a port-logistics-service urban area on Ring Road No. 4

The southern province of Bình Dương has issued a plan to develop industrial, urban, service and logistics belts along Ring Road No. 4.

BÌNH DƯƠNG — The southern province of Bình Dương has issued a plan to develop industrial, urban, service and logistics belts along Ring Road No. 4.

Accordingly, ten urban areas and four ports will be developed on an area of about 2,702 hectares in Bến Cát City.

These urban areas and ports will play an important role in being a traffic hub of Bình Dương Province, and a gateway connecting with HCM City through the Ring Road 4 traffic route.

Total estimated development cost is VNĐ134 trillion (US$5.5 billion).

The project is expected to be completed in 2040.

Investment capital will be mobilised by the province from many different sources such as the State budget, private sectors and bonds. — VNS

New strategy is expected to promote logistics service development

At a workshop to collect opinions on the draft of this development strategy held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hà Nội on Wednesday, Trần Thanh Hải, deputy director of the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), said that the draft also provides solutions to increase internal strength of the enterprise and have training of high-quality human resources for this industry.
