HÀ NỘI — The 'Right to Have Children' Charity Club and Đông Đô Hospital’s Reproductive Support Centre (Đông Đô IVF Centre) have donated two savings books to families to mark the Club's fifth anniversary.

The savings books, each worth VNĐ30 million, aim to support the cost of IVF for families who need artificial insemination.

The Đông Đô centre, with help from sponsors who successfully welcomed their children using IVF, wanted to pay the luck forward and give help to other infertile couples, who may be struggling to pay for the medical examinations and treatments involved.

The "Right to Have Children" charity club was founded on June 1, 2019, by members who are parents who have successfully done IVF and Doctor Tăng Đức Cương, director of the Đông Đô IVF Centre.

Over the past five years, the club has donated six savings books, each worth VNĐ65 million, to families and welcomed four healthy babies as a result.

A representative of the Đông Đô IVF Centre said it has an IVF success rate of up to 80 per cent and hopes to help even more families become parents in the future.

Established in 2011, Đông Đô Hospital is one of the leading private general hospitals in Hà Nội, gathering leading experts in many fields, especially cardiology, ophthalmology and reproductive support. — VNS
