Đà Nẵng hosts 1st International Fine Arts Exhibition

The 1st International Đà Nẵng Fine Arts Exhibition will be held with the participation of 19 artists from 15 countries, according to the Đà Nẵng Culture, Sports and Tourism Department. 
ĐÀ NẴNG — The 1st International Đà Nẵng Fine Arts Exhibition will be held with the participation of 19 artists from 15 countries, according to the Đà Nẵng Culture, Sports and Tourism Department. 
 
The event will take place from July 26 to August 7 with a view to introducing culture and art, as well as the traditions and people of Việt Nam and Đà Nẵng to international friends. The event also aims to promote tourism in Việt Nam and Đà Nẵng.

The event will include exchange, working and exhibition activities. The participants will experience typical cultural places and scenic spots of Đà Nẵng including The Ngũ Hành Sơn (Marble Mountains); Sơn Trà Peninsula; Bà Nà Hill and Hội An in the central province of Quảng Nam. 

The artists will make art works at Đà Nẵng Art Centre. An exhibition will be held to display the art works at Đà Nẵng Museum of Fine Arts, 78 Lê Duẩn, Hải Châu District. 

The artists are from 15 countries around the world including Australia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Myanmar, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, and the US.

The event will be an opportunity for the public in and outside the country to see and enjoy art works which are made by international artists.  

The event is also aimed at promoting tourism; popularising arts to the community and contributing to build an image of Đà Nẵng as a young and dynamic city to international friends. — VNS
