Hà Nội — A delegation from Armenia led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan enjoyed Vietnamese traditional dishes at the popular Ngon Garden restaurant in Hà Nội on Friday.
The guests said they were impressed by the restaurant’s beautiful views and landscape while enjoying traditional dishes such as bánh xèo (crepe), nem cua bể (fried crab spring rolls), shrimps steamed in coconut juice, Nha Trang grilled beef and many others. Prime Minister Pashinyan said he enjoyed the dishes so much, saying that he would never forget its aromatic taste and special flavour.
“We would return to the restaurant next time,” he said. Restaurant owner Phạm Bích Hạnh presented a painting titled "Thê Húc Bridge", one symbols of Hà Nội at Hồ Gươm (Lake Sword) in the centre of the city.
She thanked the Prime Minister and his delegation, and said: “I’m very happy to welcome the delegation to the restaurant and hoped that the dishes are enjoyable.”
Prime Minister Pashinyan was in Hà Nội to discuss with PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on strengthening ties between the two countries.
In February, Hạnh’s Ngon Garden, at 70 Nguyễn Du Street, received a delegation from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to Việt Nam for the DPRK-US summit. — VNS |
