HCM CITY Vietjet has operated regular daily flights and cargo flights to ensure sufficient goods for people and meet their flying demand during the national social distancing period, the airline announced on Tuesday.
The carrier has been providing return flights betwwen Hà Nội and HCM City with two return flights on Tuesday and one round-trip per day on Monday and Thursday. It has also increased three flights connecting the two cities to transport passengers who have completed the mandatory quarantine period or have certificates of testing negative for COVID-19.
Vietjet has also operated about 10 daily cargo flights which ferry normal goods to medical supplies and equipment to support the country’s pandemic prevention. It has also sponsored free transportation for doctors and medical staff during the social distancing period.
From this Friday, more detailed information about flight schedule will be available on Vietjet’s official information channels at www.vietjetair.com, hotline 19001886, Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam/, ticket offices and official agents nationwide.
Last week, the airline launched its POWER PASS accounts that will allow passengers to fly on 45 routes covering Việt Nam.
Two types of POWER PASS accounts are available for passengers to purchase at https://powerpass.vietjetair.com or www.vietjetair.com. POWER PASS Sky6 is priced at VNĐ8.99 million (US$386) for passengers for domestic flights until the end of September 30, 2020, while POWER PASS Sky12 card is priced at VNĐ16.99 million ($730) for passengers to book domestic flights until the end of March 31, 2021 (except for the Lunar New Year).
POWER PASS offers free tickets (excluding taxes, fees and additional add-on services), 15kg of checked baggage and 7kg of hand luggage. There is no limit to the number of domestic flights passengers can take during the validity of their passes, it said. -- VNS
