I. Criteria:

+   Being a citizen of a country where English is an official language;

+   Possessing a university degree or higher relevant to newspaper editing work;

+   Having three-year experience of working as an English-language newspaper reporter and/or editor in a country where the main language is English, certified by the previous employer/employer;

+   Possessing basic office computer skills; experience in producing multimedia products and skills of communicating on social media.

II. Requirements:

+             Having a health certificate or medical examination certificate issued by a competent foreign or Vietnamese medical agency or organisation, still within its 12-month validity period, and meeting the job requirements.

+             Possessing a work permit for working in Vietnam (except for those who get married to a Vietnamese citizen). In the absence of such a work permit, Việt Nam News will support application for a work permit on the condition that the candidate commits to work for the daily for at least two years.

+             Possessing a criminal record certificate and proof of having paid social insurance premiums in Vietnam.

+             Currently living in Hanoi to have the opportunity to work in person at Việt Nam News’s newsroom.

+             Fully meeting the conditions and standards (age...) prescribed by Vietnam’s Labour Code and relevant legal documents.
