Thanh Hóa unveil new recruits for V.League

HÀ NỘI — V.League 1’s Thanh Hóa side have presented four recruits as they aim to win the title this year.

After signing contracts with midfielder Lê Bật Hiếu and striker Nguyễn Tăng Tuấn, Thanh Hóa have completed two more contracts for goal keeper Nguyễn Minh Phong and striker Emmanuel Sunday of Nigeria.

Earlier, they also signed a three-year contract with goalkeeper Bùi Tiến Dũng, member of the national U21 team.

“We will continue seeking recruits for the remaining matches of the national premier league,” said coach Lê Thụy Hải.

Along with welcoming new players to the team, Hải said injured key players such as Danny Van Bakel and Nguyễn Hữu Dũng are recovering well.

On Sunday, Thanh Hóa, who stand third in the rankings, will meet Long An, who are second from the bottom, at home. — VNS
