HCM CITY – Canadian jazz star Kate Bowen is performing at The Reverie Hotel’s Colours of Jazz show in HCM City.
The internationally recognised artist will take to the stage with her velvety smooth voice to captivate audiences with her powerful renditions spanning the genres of soul, R&B, funk, blues, pop and jazz.
“Guests can enjoy both classic and modern varieties of jazz,” said Kai Speth, the hotel’s general manager. “Kate is famed for her ability to transcend genres and we’re extremely excited to have her talents grace our stage in the R&J Lounge.”
A true jazz diva, Bowen has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most talented and unique jazz vocalists. She has sung in jazz lounges around the globe and has worked with US pop star Demi Lovato.
“I’m hoping to record an album in 2017. I’m still looking for the right people to work with,” said Kate Bowen. “I performed in Haø Noäi in October 2011-February 2012. This is my first time in HCM City and I’m really enjoying it so far.”
She will sing Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30pm. Tickets are not required, but table reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (08) 3823 6688. — VNS
