HÀ NỘI — In early winter many Hanoians make a beeline for a place in Thạch Bàn Ward, Long Biên District, that grows rape flowers to take photos of the blooming flowers.

Every weekend the gardens attract hundreds of visitors.

Local farmers initially grew rape plants to sell leaves, but gradually turned their farms into places for taking photos, and now earn a living by selling tickets to visitors.

Thạch Bàn farmers said they have invested around VNĐ6 million (US$264) to plant rape flowers on an area of 1,000 square metres. — VNS
