This wave of COVID-19 has been hitting Việt Nam really hard. The country jumped from about 3,500 cases to more than 11,000 in just six weeks, while hundreds of thousands of people have been quarantined.
Many residents here are frustrated with the lack important infrastructure features, such as roads, schools and meeting halls and local authorities are facing greater pressure to improve facilities.
As illegal entry and exit is a threat to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, border soldiers across the country are making efforts to prevent illegal entrance, especially before the Tết (Lunar New Year) holiday.
