HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam crushed Myanmar 4-1 in the semi-final of the AFF U18 Women’s Championship on Tuesday.

Đỗ Thị Anh My scored the first goal in the 27th minute. Ngọc Minh Chuyên doubled the score in the 58th minute, and in the 64th minute, Trần Nhật Lan bagged a third.

The efforts of Myanmar got them a consolation goal in the 81st minute, thanks to good work by midfielder Wai Phoo Eain. However, that was not the final goal. In added time, a player who entered the field at the beginning of the second half, Lưu Hoàng Vân, finalised the result 4-1 in favour of Việt Nam.

Việt Nam will play Australia, who overwhelmed Thailand 1-0 in the other semi, in the final. Myanmar will take on Thailand for third place.

Both matches will take place on August 4. VNS
