HÀ NỘI — A proposal to install weighing equipment to control vehicles’ weight on Ring Road No 3 and the Thăng Long Bride has been sent to the Hà Nội People’s Committee.
The proposal was signed by Deputy Minister of Transport Lê Đình Thọ.
The proposal said the Ministry of Transport was repairing the Thăng Long Bride, and the work is expected to be finished this year.
The Mai Dịch-Nam Thăng Long flyover, part of the Ring Road No 3, is scheduled to open for public use in September this year.
To ensure traffic safety and improve the project’s effectiveness, the Ministry of Transport proposed the municipal People’s Committee install weighing equipment on the Ring Road No 3 and the bridge.
