HÀ NỘI — A VietJet Air plane was forced to return to HCM City’s Tân Sơn Nhất Airport on Monday shortly after takeoff after the captain detected a technical warning.

"After conducting checks, the technicians determined that the warning was a false alarm, and the plane is backs in normal operation," a representative of VietJet Air confirmed.

Passengers on the flight were put on another flight to continue the journey.

According to the VietJet representative, aviation required stringent technical standards to ensure the safety of passengers.

After detecting a technical warning, captains are trained to land at the nearest available airport for inspection.  Passenger safety is always the top priority, according to the representative.— VNS
