HCM City female painters attend exhibitions in Korea

Six female artists of the HCM City Fine Arts Association are exhibiting their works at the Korea-Vietnam Joint Exhibition in Gwangju, Korea.

HCM CITY— Six female artists of the HCM City Fine Arts Association are exhibiting their works at the Korea-Vietnam Joint Exhibition in Gwangju, South Korea.

The artists include Đặng Thị Dương, Cao Thị Được, Huỳnh Phương Đài Trang, Nguyễn Thi Anh Đào, Phạm Thị Hồng Loan, and Nguyễn Trí Minh Thư.

They displayed 20 paintings in different media which send artists’ messages about youth and love. 

The artists are also preparing for another event in Gwangju on September 6.

They will introduce their art at a biennial event organised by the International Women’s Art Exchange Association, in co-operation with Gwangju authorities.

The event, Memory-History, will attract more than 100 female artists from 20 countries and territories.

Vietnamese artists will display six paintings selected from their latest collections.

The exhibition opens at Thinking Box Gallery and runs through mid-September.  

Memory-History will close at the Asian Culture Centre on September 13. — VNS
