Over 1,500 to race in HN this Sunday

HÀ NỘI — The 44th Hà Nội Mới (New Hà Nội) Newspaper Run for Peace will be held this Sunday at Hoàn Kiếm Lake.

More than 1,500 athletes will take part in the annual tournament, which offers separate categories and prizes for professional and amateur runners.

In the pro events, women will run three laps—equivalent to 5,250m—around Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The men will complete five laps, around 8,750m.

In the amateur category, students, workers, soldiers and expats, including several ambassadors, will compete in different distances, ranging from 1,730m to 5,250m.
