Int’l billiards event to kick off in Bình Dương

HÀ NỘI — The Bình Dương International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament will kick off on Friday in the southern province of Bình Dương.

The event will attract the participation of 64 domestic and foreign players.

Việt Nam’s best players namely Dương Anh Vũ, Mã Xuân Cường, Nguyễn Đức Anh Chiến and Lê Thành Tiến will take part in the event. While international names include Kim Jae Guen, Cho Joe Ho of South Korea, Francisco Dela Cruz of the Philippines and Hideaki Kobayashi and Nobuyasu Sakai of Japan, will also attend.

Players will compete in a knock-out format throughout the tournament that will run until August 21. — VNS
