HÀ NỘI — On the second working day of the ninth plenum of the 13th-tenure Party Central Committee, the members discussed in groups the Outline Report summarising Party building activities and the implementation of the Party Charter, which is to be presented at the 14th National Party Congress in early 2026.

They also gave opinions on the project summarising Directive No.35-CT/TW, dated May 30, 2019, of the Politburo and the draft Directive on the congresses of Party committees at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress.

At 4pm the Politburo met to review and respond to the Party Central Committee's comments on the outline report.

On its first working day, the Party Central Committee had decided on several important personnel matters and they had worked in groups, discussing the detailed outlines for the political report of the 13th Central Committee at the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, the detailed outlines for the report on five-year implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021-30 and the five-year socio-economic development plan for 2026-30.

The ninth plenum is expected to have its final working day on Saturday. — VNS
