HÀ NỘI — Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang won the team’s time trial, in the 17th stage of the HCM City Television yesterday in Nha Trang City, Khánh Hòa Province.

The team took 59.19min to complete the 48km stage to top the podium. Bike Life Đồng Nai came second, and VUS-HCM City finished third.

The victory helped Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang’s Nguyễn Thành Tâm maintain its position as the yellow jersey holder, with a time of 41:11.03.

He was followed by Huỳnh Thanh Tùng of Military Zone 7 and Nguyễn Hoàng Giang of Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang.

In the team ranking, VUS-HCM were on top, leaving behind Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang and Bike Life Đồng Nai.

Athletes will have one day off today in Nha Trang. They will compete in the 18th stage from Nha Trang to Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm City of Ninh Thuận Province along the 129km route tomorrow. — VNS
