Fifty-three e-survey systems installed in city hospitals

Fifty-three hospitals in HCM City, including 30 city hospitals and 23 district hospitals, installed e-survey systems to receive paitient’s feebacks, according to the city’s Department of Health.

HCM CITY — Fifty-three hospitals in HCM City, including 30 city hospitals and 23 district hospitals, installed e-survey systems to receive patient’s feebacks, according to the city’s Department of Health.

The system will survey information, and immediately report to the Quality Management and Hospital Management Division.

The survey information is transferred to the department so the department can easily understand the dissatisfaction of patients in all hospitals anytime.

The department’s board of director has assigned its Medical Affairs Division to monitor patients’dissatisfaction in the hospitals through follow-ups to promptly remind hospitals to improve.

Accordingly, the department will plan to inspect the quality of services in hospitals that have high levels of dissatisfaction as reflected in the 15 survey questions developed by the department.

The department will periodically publicise the survey results and recommend to hospitals good or effective ways of improving service quality. — VNS
