DJ Alan Walker to bring his brand of EDM to HCM City

British – Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker, producer of mega hit track Faded, will dazzle HCM City’s audiences with a performance at the Revolution Music Festival 2016 next month.

HCM CITY — British – Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker, producer of mega hit track Faded, will dazzle HCM City’s audiences with a performance at the Revolution Music Festival 2016 next month.

Walker will perform Faded along with his popular songs Sing Me to Sleep, Force and Spectre.

Born in 1997 in the UK, Walker became popular after releasing the hit Faded in November 2015.

The song featuring the voice of the Norwegian pop singer and songwriter became a great commercial success almost immediately after its release. It was at number one on music charts in more than 10 countries and among the top 5 in more than 25 countries.

It has received more than 760 million views on YouTube, and is on the list of the Top 40 most-liked YouTube videos, with over 4.5 million likes.

Walker was ranked no 55 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 this year. He won the Best Norwegian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2016.

His performance in Việt Nam is part of his Walker Tour: Asia, touring China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and India in December.

The electronic dance music (EDM) festival will feature KSHMR from the US and R3hab from the Netherlands, who are ranked no 12 and 21 on DJ Mag’s Top 100.

Vietnamese pop star Hồ Ngọc Hà will appear at the event together with resident DJs Gin, Bee and Bad Andy.

The Revolution Music Festival will take place at the Sài Gòn Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 on December 8. It is expected to attract 15,000 people. — VNS
