State investment in Bắc Ninh Province up 16%

The State has invested VNĐ2.4 trillion (US$205 million) in Bắc Ninh Province in 2016, an increase of 6 per cent against last year, the provincial General Statistics Office said.

HÀ NỘI — The State has invested VNĐ2.4 trillion (US$205 million) in Bắc Ninh Province in 2016, an increase of 6 per cent against last year, the provincial General Statistics Office said.

Of this, the development investment capital sourced from the provincial State budget is estimated at VNĐ1.7 trillion, up 13 per cent year-on-year, the office said.

In November alone, the State invested VNĐ248 billion for the province’s development, an increase of 14.9 per cent year-on-year. Of this, VNĐ179.1 billion was sourced from the provincial State budget, VNĐ42.2 billion from the budget of districts within the province and VNĐ26.7 billion from the commune budget.

Also, in November, the provincial Department of Planning and Investment granted business licences to 1,452 firms with a total registered capital of around VNĐ8.2 trillion.

Currently, there are around 8,740 enterprises operating in the province with a total registered capital of VNĐ119.6 trillion. — VNS
