Photo exhibition features 55th year of Việt Nam-Laos relations

The Vietnam News Agency on Monday opened a photo exhibition featuring the traditional friendship and solidarity between Việt Nam and Laos in Hà Nội.

HÀ NỘI — The Vietnam News Agency on Monday opened a photo exhibition featuring the traditional friendship and solidarity between Việt Nam and Laos in Hà Nội.

The exhibition entitled "Việt Nam - Laos relations forever stronger than mountains and rivers" is part of activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of relations and the 40th year since the signing of the Việt Nam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.

Member of Politburo and Deputy Prime Minister Vương Đình Huệ , General Đỗ Bá Tỵ who is also member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, representatives of Lao embassy in Việt Nam and many officials from ministries and authorities attended the exhibition. — VNS

President Hồ Chí Minh receives President of Laos Souphanouvong in the Việt Bắc military zone in 1951.
