HÀ NỘI — Dai-ichi Life Việt Nam and Liên Việt Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank have committed to building and promoting strategic co-operation for the sustainable development of the banking and insurance sector.

The commitment was made under a business contract signed between the two sides on Monday.

Specifically, the insurance company and the bank will help introduce and supply their services to each other’s customers over a period of five years, starting in November.

Trần Đình Quân, Director General of Dai-ichi Life Việt Nam, said the co-operation agreement with LienVietPostBank was a step towards realising its distribution channel diversification strategy.

He said he hoped that with the co-operation, more and more Vietnamese customers would have the chance to access the company’s life insurance services.

LienVietPostBank Director General Phạm Doãn Sơn said the bank’s revenue and operational efficiency were expected to be improved, thanks to the signing. — VNS
