HCM CITY — Russia is listed among 10 markets with the highest growth of tourists in Việt Nam, with Russian arrivals reaching nearly 300,000 in the first eight months of 2016, a year-on-year increase of 125 per cent.

More Russian tourists are expected to explore Việt Nam in the remaining months of the year, according to the Việt Nam National Administration of Tourism.

Việt Nam is viewed as a safe and friendly destination with sandy beaches, sunny weather and high-end resorts in the south-central region, and a rich culture and gastronomy that attract Russian visitors.
