The 2030 Businessmen Club has announced that this year’s charity caravan trip will travel 1,200km from Hà Nội to Ninh Bình through Thanh Hóa, Nghệ An, and Quảng Bình from April 28 to May 2.

HCM CITY — The 2030 Businessmen Club has announced that this year’s charity caravan trip will travel 1,200km from Hà Nội to Ninh Bình through Thanh Hóa, Nghệ An, and Quảng Bình from April 28 to May 2.

Along the route the organisers will present bicycles to 600 poor students and other gifts to 2,000 others in Thanh Hóa and Ninh Bình. The total value of the gifts is estimated at VNĐ2.9 billion.

According to the organisers, the 13^th edition of the event coincides with the commemoration of the 1,050^th anniversary of the establishment of Đại Cồ Việt, the country’s first feudal state, by King Đinh Tiên Hoàng, real name Đinh Bộ Lĩnh.

During the trip, participating businesspeople can learn about the history of the feudal dynasties in Việt Nam and Hoa Lư, the first capital of the country.

The caravan trip, organised annually since 2005, is meant to bring joy to disadvantaged people and share their difficulties, especially underprivileged children in remote and border areas. — VNS
