Healthcare company Abbott has been named among the best places to work in Việt Nam for the fourth consecutive year in the survey by Anphabe, a leading network for professionals.

This year’s result has seen Abbott’s position rise to No 9 among the top 100 companies across industries in Việt Nam. The company moved up one rank from 2016, and has sustained the top position in the pharmaceutical sector for two consecutive years.

“It’s a great honor for Abbott to be recognised as the No 9 Best Place to Work in Việt Nam. It reflects our commitment and efforts in creating an ideal workplace for talents to develop themselves,” said Douglas Kuo, general manager of Abbott Vietnam.

“We believe that a healthy workplace inspires people to dedicate themselves to improving the quality of healthcare, offering better healthcare solutions to Vietnamese people and thus allowing them to reach their full potential and live life to the fullest,” Kuo said.

Abbott employs 3,400 people across Việt Nam and focuses on developing local talent. The company offers comprehensive healthcare, wellness and work-life benefits, as well as flexible work options such as job sharing, compressed work weeks, telecommuting and flexitime to its employees.

Employees are also given opportunities to lead and grow at every stage of their career through training, mentoring, networking groups and extensive development programmes.
