One group of Dao ethnic in Việt Nam are known as the ‘white pants Dao’. This is because of the outfits they wear. In Tuyên Quang Province, the white pants Dao have been making brocade fabrics for generations. Women here want to keep this ancient craft alive and hope to earn profit from their efforts.
