Established on April 15, 1974, the Mobile Police are a specialised armed unit under the People’s Public Security of Việt Nam, tasked with implementing armed measures to safeguard national security and maintain social order and safety.

With specialised equipment and high readiness, the force plays a crucial role in preserving political stability, acting as a “steel shield” against terrorism, riots and dangerous crimes. Their operations help create a secure environment for social activities, national development and the peaceful daily life of the people.
