Typhoon No. 13 leaves parts of Đắk Lắk underwater

Powerful winds and torrential rain pounded the Central Highlands on the night of November 6 as Typhoon No. 13 made landfall, unroofing hundreds of houses, flooding streets, and toppling trees and power poles across Gia Lai and Đắk Lắk Provinces.

CENTRAL HIGHLANDS — Typhoon No. 13 brought powerful winds and torrential rain as it swept across the Central Highlands on the night of November 6, battering Gia Lai and Đắk Lắk provinces. Hundreds of houses were unroofed, streets were flooded, and trees and power poles were uprooted, causing widespread power outages and traffic disruptions. In Đắk Lắk’s Tuy Hòa Ward, local authorities and residents worked through the night to clear fallen trees and restore safety. VNS
