During the visit, General Secretary Lâm held talks with President Lee, met with the Prime Minister and National Assembly Speaker, attended a press briefing and witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation agreements. Lâm also co-chaired the Việt Nam–RoK Economic Forum with Prime Minister Kim Min Seok.

At Yonsei University, General Secretary Lâm delivered a keynote speech emphasising trust-building and connectivity to advance the comprehensive strategic partnership for peace and development.

Both Việt Nam and the RoK shared views on regional and global issues, reaffirming their commitment to deepening bilateral ties. The two countries' leaders praised the growth of relations since diplomatic ties began in 1992, especially after upgrading to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2022.

A joint statement was issued, outlining plans to strengthen cooperation in diplomacy, defence, security, trade, investment, science and technology. The visit was hailed as a great success, marking a new chapter in the partnership between Việt Nam and RoK. VNS
