Vietjet celebrates Vietnamese Women's Day

Vietjet, once again, presented passengers with unforgettable memories on Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20) with famous designer Thuan Viet’s 10 impressive ao dai dresses, performed by a beautiful group of models at the airport and on board, along with meaningful gifts.

The catwalk show, the first of its kind held at the airport, was part of the budget carrier’s activities to celebrate this special day for all Vietnamese women.

Supermodel Vo Hoang Yen and Vietjet’s team of models turned the airport into a fascinated catwalk, attracting the attention of several passengers.

Designer Thuan Viet said he drew by hand the entire collection of 10 ao dai dresses, which were inspired by popular Vietnamese myths such as Tam Cam, Son Tinh-Thuy Tinh and Au Co Lac Long Quan. 3D printing techniques were used to create the unique designs.

Vietjet passengers showed keen interest in the ao dai performance while enjoying the song “Huong Viet Nam” with its sweet melody.

Not only at the lounge, but all passengers flying with Vietjet on flight VJ126 from HCM City to Ha Noi were also inspired by the ao dai collection, and some called it an unforgettable flying experience.

Model Thu Hien wore an ao dai inspired by Tam from the famous Vietnamese fairytale “Tam Cam”.
