LÂM ĐỒNG — Visitors to the resort city of Đà Lạt can take a tour of the Langbiang plateau and sample rượu cần (wine stored in a big jar and drunk with a long pipe), a specialty of ethnic minorities living in the Central Highlands.

About 300km northeast of HCM City and at an altitude of 1,500m above sea level, Đà Lạt has a cool climate. It is seen as a garden of flowers that blooms all year round and is famous for its pine forests and many beautiful waterfalls and lakes.

Those who love adventure and want to gain a fantastic experience for their journey should listen to the touching love story of a couple named Lang and Biang.

For young people, it is a thrilling and unforgettable experience to conquer the two highest peaks of the Langbiang plateau, Ông Mountain at the height of 2,124m and Bà at 2,167m. They can enjoy a night stay in the middle of the forest.

Tourists are also advised to experience a cozy family meal with the Lạch ethnic people at the foot of Langbiang mountain and learn about the lives and spiritual values of the ethnic minority community in the Central Highlands. — VNS
