HCM CITY — Since mid-2016,  travel firms in HCM City have offered honey-collection excursions in U Minh Hạ Forest, as part of tours to the southernmost province of Cà Mau in the Mekong Delta.

Many travellers have shown keen interest in the new programme, which offers a unique experience, a close connection with nature and an opportunity to see the daily life of locals.

In addition to honey, visitors can also fish and sleep at a community-based eco-tourism destination called Mười Ngót at Hamlet No 4, Khánh Bình Tây Bắc Ward, Trần Văn Thời District. — VNS
