LAM DONG (VNS) — The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has set a target of five million visitors in 2015, a 4.2 per cent rise from this year.
To achieve the goal, it will focus on services and improve quality of tourism activities while investing in transport infrastructure.
Long holidays and the biennial Da Lat Flower Festival in late 2015 are expected to be big factors in attracting tourists.
According to the provincial People's Committee, an estimated 4.8 million visitors visited Lam Dong this year, a 14.4 per cent year-on-year increase. Nearly 250,000 were foreign visitors, up 9.3 per cent. — VNS
