VN to keep CPI growth low by end of 2021

Việt Nam looks to maintain a Consumer Price Index (CPI) growth lower than 1 per cent during the last quarter of 2021 in an effort to keep inflation under the 4 per cent target for the year, heard a recent meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Lê Minh Khái and the National Pricing Management Committee in Hà Nội. 


Central province warns of petrol surplus, calls for import cuts

Central Quảng Ngãi Province's People Committee, home to the Bình Sơn Refinery (BSR), one of the country's largest petrochemical enterprises and the province's key economic lifeline, has pledged with the Prime Minister Office that the country should prioritise using gasoline and diesel oil from domestic suppliers and reduce import in light of crumbling demand during the pandemic.
