HÀ NỘI — Sanna Khánh Hòa defeated Becamex Bình Dương 3-0 in the 12th round of the V.League 1 yesterday.
Although playing away at Gò Đậu Stadium in the southern province of Bình Dương, Khánh Hòa controlled the game from the opening whistle.
After a long shot from Quốc Thanh, Phạm Trùm Tỉnh scored the opener for the visitors in the 16th minute.
After that, the visitors kept the pressure on the hosts but they failed to score again in the opening period.
After the break, Bình Dương fought back strongly and looked to level the score.
In the 53rd minute however, Khánh Hòa counter-attacked and Tỉnh doubled the score for the visitors.
In extra time, Youssouf Toure killed the last efforts of Bình Dương with a goal to leave the score 3-0 to Khánh Hòa.
At Cần Thơ Stadium in the southern province of Cần Thơ, HCM City were held to a 1-1 draw with Cần Thơ.
HCM City played very confidently but conceded in the first half. However, via Quang Nam’s assist, Hải Anh levelled the score for HCM City in the early minutes of the second half.
The two teams then created many chances to score again but they couldn’t convert.
Elsewhere, FLC Thanh Hóa lost to Hải Phòng 0-2 and Đà Nẵng beat Nam Định 4-2.
