Viet Nam take eight golds at SEA archery event

Viet Nam bagged eight gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the Southeast Asian Archery Championship 2016, which concluded in Yangon, Myanmar on Wednesday.

Nguyen Tien Cuong, Loc Thi Dao and Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao won gold medals in the men's three-stringed bow, women's one-stringed bow and women's three-stringed bow, respectively.

Viet Nam also bagged gold medals in team events on the last day of the competition.

The four-day tournament attracted the participation of 60 archers from Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar and Viet Nam. — VNS
