HA NOI (VNS) — At least 35 local and foreign clubs are taking part in the 2014 Rainforest Challenge (RFC) Viet Nam, the biggest off-road motor race in the country.
The event kicks off on August 24-30 at the Tuan Chau Resort, Ha Long City in the northern Quang Ninh Province.
Competing foreign clubs will be coming from Canada, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand and Laos.
The race includes a variety of challenges such as mudding, rock crawling and green laning. In one of the tests, drivers will also be required to race through a natural forest.
The tournament, held for first time in Viet Nam in 2012, is part of the worldwide RFC series, with the main event held in Malaysia every December.— VNS
